Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit soulmarks.com or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

Who we are

This website is run by Joe Craig's Soulmarks ("Soulmarks", "we", "us"), the House of Soulmarks, 444 N. Walnut Street, Dexter, Missouri 63841. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email us at info@soulmarks.com.

The information we collect

When you fill in a form on the site — a consultation request, a general inquiry, or a donation inquiry — we collect the details you choose to share. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, phone number, the kind of session you're interested in, and anything you write in the message.

Like most websites, ours also collects some basic technical information as you browse, such as your device type, browser, approximate location, and how you move through the pages. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies and is used to keep the site working and to understand how it's used. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation or session, to keep a record of our correspondence with you, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

How your information is stored and who handles it

Our site is built on Squarespace, which hosts the site and processes form submissions on our behalf. When you submit a form, the details are sent to us by email and may also be stored in a Google spreadsheet so we can keep track of inquiries.

Some parts of the site rely on other trusted services. We use Google for the Farm Project sign-up form, for storing inquiries in Google Sheets, and for the embedded map on the contact page. Donations to the Soulmarks Foundation are handled by PayPal on their own platform, so we never see or store your card details. Squarespace provides our hosting and basic site analytics. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

We keep inquiry information only as long as we need it to deal with your inquiry and keep reasonable business records, and then we delete it.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies that the site needs to function and stay secure, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and where required you'll be asked for your choice through our cookie banner when you first visit.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it if it's wrong, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, for example under GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California. To make any request, just email info@soulmarks.com and we'll help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
