A Soulmarks session isn't rushed and it isn't performed. It's an hour given over to one thing: seeing you as you actually are. Joe Craig has spent fifty years learning how to do that — and the studio, the House of Soulmarks in Dexter, is built around it.
You don't need to know how to be in front of a camera. That part is Joe's.

Every Soulmarks portrait is finished by hand at the Soulmarks Arte Centre and made on materials chosen to last — pieces meant to be lived with and handed down, not files on a phone.

It begins with a conversation. At your free consultation we talk about your ideas, your questions and what the artwork is for. There is no pressure and no obligation. You then spend one hour with Joe Craig at the House of Soulmarks in Dexter, Missouri. About a week later you return for a private viewing, to see your Joe Craig artwork and choose how to own it.

There is no session fee. Joe Craig artwork is offered in a range of packages, each offering excellent value, and prices are discussed with you at your consultation, so you know exactly where you stand before you decide anything.

A session is one hour, unhurried. About a week later you are invited back to the House of Soulmarks for a private viewing, where you see your Joe Craig artwork and choose how to own it.

Joe Craig sessions are open to anyone, and each one is tailored to your unique needs. Our brands (DASH, BOND, RAPT, Teen RAPT and IKON) cover couples, families, women, teens and seniors, and professional headshots.

Yes. At your private viewing, Joe guides you in choosing your Joe Craig artwork and in deciding how you will live with it: its size, its framing, and where it will hang in your home. Every piece is finished by hand on materials chosen to last, made to accompany you and future generations.

Yes. People travel from all around to visit the House of Soulmarks. For DASH, our specialist brand for couples and families, Joe will come to you and create your Joe Craig artwork at home. Home visits are arranged at your consultation.

Wear what makes you feel most like yourself, in solid colors rather than busy patterns. What to wear and bring is part of your consultation, and Joe will guide you before your session.
