Meet OUR Founder
Joe Craig is a Dexter, Missouri native who has worked at the House of Soulmarks since 1972 — more than fifty years behind the camera. Over those decades he developed the way of seeing that became Soulmarks.
Known as the Master of Light, he is a portraitist of international acclaim — a household name among portrait photographers on four continents, and in demand as a lecturer and image designer around the globe, having welcomed photographers from forty-nine countries to his studio in Dexter. What people come for is hard to name. Within minutes of meeting someone, Joe seems to know something true about them — and the portrait holds it.
